The Ambassador, Permanent Representative's participation to the 52nd meeting of UNSAC

From 22 to 26 November 2021, the Minister of External Relations His Excellency Mbella Mbella will lead a Cameroonian delegation to the 52nd meeting of the United Nations Standing Advisory Committee in charge of security issues in Central Africa, in Libreville, Republic of Gabon.

The Libreville conference will have two segments: a meeting of experts, from 22 to 25 November 2021 and a meeting of the Ministers, on 26 November 2021.

The Ambassador, Representative of Cameroon to the United Nations, S.E. TOMMO MONTHE will lead the delegation of Cameroonian experts.

During the meeting, the Member States will assess the geopolitical and security situation in Central Africa, terrorism and maritime piracy in the Gulf of Guinea, the implementation of Resolution 1325 on women, peace and security of the United Nations’ Security Council, climate change, human rights issues, etc.
