Cameroon has celebrated the thirty-seventh edition of the festival of the unitary state, May 20, 2009, under the theme: Defence Forces and Nation in promoting peace and social development. Yaounde the political capital, to Kousseri, via Douala, Ambam, Garoua-Boulai, the Bakassi peninsula, Ngambé, Bandjoun, Figuil we celebrated the virtues of national unity.
